Theree Cases of Clonorchis Sinensis and Included Worm in Acute Cholecystitis

Abstract
Clonorchiasis is a prevalent endemic disease in Korea. In the Region of Cholla-Nam-Do, more than 20% of 2658 persons examined were positive for intradermal skin test. All of Clonorchiasis presented, are males in four decade and manifested early in summer, had oppertunity to consume uncooked fish with alcohol in twenties, operated under diagnosis of acute cholecystitis with or without stones, and performed cholecystectomy with T-tube drainage. Numerous living worm have been found in markedly dilated gallbladder, but no evidence of stones and carcinoma in biliary tree.
Brief disccussion of literature for Clonorchis Sinensis, clinical manifestation and surgical aspect are included for completeness.
